It’s been awhile since I’ve posted a recent shoot here. I’ve been busy with album orders and when I do post, it’s all been personal. Let’s switch gears and meet the So family who recently welcomed their first born, Brandon. I met them for the first time at their maternity session back in the fall of last year. They referred to Brandon as their Shake Shack baby since they frequented mom’s favorite neighborhood burger joint. It’s only a few blocks from their apartment. This would have been very dangerous for me. When I was prego with Ty a cheeseburger was merely a snack.

Is this little ones name. I loved his family. I chatted with his mom and older siblings as we waiting for him to fall asleep, while listing to a little Kanye West (Rockabye Baby Lullaby’s rendition). It was a peaceful shoot, living up to Ocean’s name.

babies I have photographed this year. I loved every inch of him and he loved the camera. His room had the perfect light. I could have stayed all day!

Lily’s mom and I used to work together several years ago at J.Walter Thompson. I’ve been photographing her sister’s family for quite some time now and was very excited to hear Chrissy was expecting so I could do the same for her. They kicked off Lily’s arrival with a gorgeous baby shower. The event was almost ; ) as gorgeous as she is. Welcome Lily.

Mel and I went to high school and college together and now we live down the road from each other. She is awaiting the arrival of her 2nd baby girl. In honor of her arrival we decided to do a quick shoot. We met at my house, chose a couple outfits and then headed to a nearby park where I quickly stepped in a pile of dog crap. We laughed quite a bit over the fact that not only had I stepped in it but I didn’t even really care. That is what two children will do to you. You become immune to feces.

There is never a shortage of laughs when spending time with Melisa. She laughs at everything and when I’m with her, so do I. Mel has a wonderful blog which can be seen here. Check it out if you haven’t already done so!

Just a few that caught my eye from a recent shoot with Amy and Jonathan who are expecting their first baby this December. I was floored by how great she looks. We chose the park as our location because Amy is an avid runner, to say the least, and often runs in Central Park. She’s completed 11 marathons world-wide, including 6 in New York of course. Good practice for keeping up with her soon-to-arrive little one, although I feel as though it might be the other way around.
