My client and I turned this guest room into a calm and cozy place for her family and friends to stay when visiting. We replaced the old furniture with a new linen headboard and wood tiled dresser from West Elm. We also added the Made Goods low white nightstands in order to not block the windows, and two blue lamps from Arteriors. The blue and white striped KLS roman shades paired with Christopher Farr Cloth Carnival euro pillows bring in a little pattern and color. The blue and white palette with hints of green gives the room a fun and fresh feel.

We kept costs down with when it came to the accessories and bedding. The matching double mirrors are from Ballard Designs which hang side by side over the dresser. The bedding is from Home Goods and Gilt. The Capiz flush mount light from Serena and Lily adds just a little warmth with it’s brass and shell components, and wasn’t too expensive either. Once Covid is under control, these guests will feel like they’re sleeping in a hotel room.
